Suddenly, she heard the door close and got a notification on her phone that her 20-year-old daughter, Melody, had left the house and was on the move. She texted her and told her not to be out too late, and Melody replied that she was just going to meet a friend and would be back soon. But as the night of February 17th turned into the morning of February 18th, Melody stopped answering her mother’s texts until just before 2 in the morning, when Megan received one final message…
