Alexis Avery spent the evening of Friday, January 11th, 2019, partying and having a good time with her friends. She had developed a crush on a coworker, Scott, who was there that night, and things were going well. The two flirted and seemed to be connecting, and eventually they decided to go somewhere more private. Once they found themselves alone in the back of Scott’s truck, they became intimate. But suddenly and without warning, the front passenger’s side door of the truck flung open, and a figure stood there looking at them. Calmly, he uttered one chilling phrase to Alexis: “Get your things, let’s go…”
