The Winter season in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is bitter and unforgiving. Still, like many across the country, its residents take the late December season as a time for holidays and fellowship. 23-year-old mother Mya Kelly was doing just that… basking in the warm afterglow of the day after Christmas with her kids and boyfriend. That peace would shatter in an instant when a series of late-night knocks and a dangerous visitor emerged from the snow…
