When a 911 dispatcher received a call from a blueberry farmer in May of 2002 - he reported discovering a horrific crime scene in the woods that bordered his land. Police arrived at the farm located just miles from the shores of Lake Michigan, and ruled the unrecognizably charred human remains the victim of an apparent homicide. With few clues, the case went cold until 2015, when an anonymous tipster contacted the primary detective working the case. The caller had watched a short student-film entitled, “Jack in the Box,” made in 2005 about the unidentified John Doe murder. After viewing the documentary film, the tipster believed they not only knew who the victim was… but also the identity of the suspects…
