It was June 15th, 2021, and 20-year-old Alexander Jackson was fast asleep on the screened porch of his family’s home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  But at around 8 AM, Alex awoke to the sound of gunfire coming from the interior of his parent’s house.  Wasting no time, Alex ran inside and was met by a horrific sight: a masked man holding a rifle.  On the ground near the intruder lay Alex’s father, 61-year-old Jan Jackson.  After a brief struggle, Alex was able to scare the mysterious man off and call 911.  As police arrived on scene, they discovered two more bodies. But as detectives dug deeper into the investigation, they learned that the murderer was no stranger at all.  In fact, Alex’s family knew him very, very well…
